Make sure you don't miss out on West Ham United's official matchday programme for our Premiership clash against Everton tomorrow at Upton Park.
Our on-loan striker Kepa Blanco talks about how he is getting to
grips with London life and playing football in England.
The Spanish star reveals: "The main difference I am finding
is the speed of the game here. In Spain, they play in a much more
technical manner.
"In the first few training sessions I had at West Ham, I
began to understand how important the physical aspects of the game
are here. But I feel I am adjusting well and enjoying my football.
"The main struggles I have had is with the food and the
timetable of when you are supposed to eat, that is much different
from what I have been used to! But on the whole, London is a great
city, lots to see and do and I am very happy here."
Nigel Reo-Coker and Anton Ferdinand tell us how special it was
to play in the first ever match at the new Wembley Stadium. Nigel
led the England U-21s out on to the pitch as captain and both
Hammers were enthralled by the occasion.
The West Ham skipper said: "It will definitely be an
experience that will stay with me the rest of my life. It was a
unique situation to be in, to know you are making history."
And Anton adds: "The facilities are state-of-the-art and
nothing has been spared to make it one of the best stadiums in the
world. To get the chance to play in the first match there was an
honour."
Also in the programme, we hear from former Hammers midfielder
Martin Allen, who talks about his playing days at West Ham and
reveals some amusing stories from that time. And Chief Scout Roger
Cross, talks about his role and that of his staff, who travel the
land to find the best players.
We catch up with our reserve team who have recently won their fourth game in a row and our youth team who are about to enter the last game of the season. Keeper Jimmy Walker delivers some more dressing room gossip in his ever popular column.
There is a look at the opposition and previous clashes between
West Ham and Everton and we have Alan Curbishley's thoughts
ahead of the big game.
There is, as usual, the quiz and up-to-the-minute news on
everything West Ham.
To read all of this, be sure to grab your copy of the matchday
programme, on sale around the stadium, priced
