Anton Ferdinand is looking forward to playing at the
Emirates Stadium for the first time on Saturday, after going along
to watch his older brother play there in January.
"It's going to be a very tough game for us but we always play well against the big sides," he said. "Playing at the Emirates is going to be unbelievable for me. I've been there to watch Rio and it's an unbelievable stadium. I'm really looking forward to it.
"They have players that play in big games, so it's going to be a very hard game. But hopefully we'll be the first team to beat them there."
Anton has some recent experience of playing in state-of-the-art stadiums after making his debut in the first game at the new Wembley two weeks ago.
"Wembley was amazing, but the Emirates isn't far behind," he said. "When I went and watched Rio there the atmosphere was amazing and this is a London derby so I'm expecting it to be even more intense. But wherever we go our fans always come out on top so I'm really looking forward to it."
With the Hammers facing a fixture-filled April, Anton admitted: "It's going to be very tough. Every game in the Premiership is tough. It's either sink or swim now and we have to make sure we keep swimming.
"We've given ourselves a chance and we've been showing the spirit that we should have showed earlier on in the season. But it's better late than never and it's time to start kicking on.
"When training's sharp that's when you know that on the pitch you're going to be sharp. But training's buzzing and everyone's enjoying it."
