Noble back in action for reserves tonight

The reserve team take on Portsmouth tonight, still searching for their first win of the campaign.

New reserve team coach Steve Brown has named a young squad for the match, which takes place at Bishop's Stortford's Woodside Park stadium.

Young midfielder Mark Noble will be in action following his return from a three-month loan spell at Ipswich Town last week, while Tyrone Mears continues his recovery from a troublesome knee injury.

Elsewhere, only two other players - youngsters Hogan Ephraim and Kyel Reid - possess first team experience, while 16-year-old Czech under-21 goalkeeper Marek Stech makes his first appearance between the sticks at reserve level.

Portsmouth, meanwhile, have named former Manchester United and England striker Andy Cole in their squad.

Squad: Stech, Mears, Widdowson, Collison, Spence, Ngala, Hales, Sears, Ephraim, Reid, Fitzgerald, Blackmore, Stanislas, Jeffery, Harvey.
