Hammers youngster Hogan Ephraim was on the scoresheet for
his country on Tuesday night as England Under-19s beat Switzerland
3-2 in a friendly at Crewe Alexandra's Gresty Road
stadium.
The 18-year-old attacker netted a fine solo goal in the 12th minute to restore England's lead after the Swiss had cancelled out a 5th minute opener from Liverpool's Adam Hammill.
The visitors equalised for a second time in the 66th minute but England won it late on with a last-gasp header from substitute James Vaughan.
The match was a warm-up for the European Under-19 championship finals, which take place in Austria next summer.
