Wigan v Hammers

Team News: Alan Pardew has named a 19-man squad for the clash at the JJB Stadium. Anton Ferdinand misses out after failing to recover from a thigh injury picked up against Portsmouth last week, while Christian Dailly is sidelined with a hamstring tear.

Squad to face Wigan: Hislop, Walker, Scaloni, Gabbidon, Collins, Ward, Konchesky, Clarke, Benayoun, Newton, Mullins, Reo-Coker, Fletcher, Etherington, Sheringham, Ashton, Harewood, Zamora, Katan.

Wigan, meanwhile, look set to name an unchanged line-up for the fourth successive match. Goalkeeper Mike Pollitt is available again after sustaining a hamstring injury in the Carling Cup final against Manchester United, and will be among the substitutes.

Previous meetings: Hammers will be hoping for their third win in four visits to the JJB Stadium. Last season saw Teddy Sheringham and Marlon Harewood score in a 2-1 victory on April 2 that began a run of nine games without defeat as Hammers hit top form going into the end of season promotion play-offs.
