Following the departure of Gavin Williams, West Ham United can also confirm that terms have been agreed with Stoke City for the permanent transfer of Luke Chadwick, for a fee of £100,000.
Although the signing has yet to be formally completed, no obstacles are expected to arise and Luke is likely to finalise his move on Thursday.
The 25-year-old winger has been on loan at the Britannia Stadium since the start of the season and is a regular member of Johan Boskamp's team, having made 24 Championship appearances for the Potters, scoring one goal.
Luke originally signed for the Hammers on a free transfer in August 2004 from Manchester United, where he progressed through the ranks as a youth trainee and went on to appear in Premiership title-winning campaigns and several Champions League encounters.
After loan spells at Antwerp, Burnley and Reading - where he first teamed up with Alan Pardew - Luke arrived at Upton Park soon after his former Old Trafford team-mate Teddy Sheringham, and went on to make 36 league and cup appearances during our promotion-winning campaign.
He scored one goal for the club, in the 1-1 draw against Leeds United in December 2004, and ironically made his final appearance against Stoke, during our 1-0 win at the Britannia Stadium in April 2005.
As with his former Hammers colleague Gavin, Luke leaves with the best wishes of everyone at West Ham United.
