Kyel Reid has followed in the footsteps of his Hammers colleague Hogan Ephraim by signing a one-month extension to his current loan deal with a Championship side.
The 18-year-old winger joined Barnsley on a one-month loan deal just hours after Ephraim joined Colchester United in a similar agreement, and has now agreed to stay for a further month - just as Hogan did at Layer Road yesterday.
Reid has made four appearances for the Tykes so far, scoring once in a 2-0 win against Southend United - a game he was also sent-off in.
