Young Hammers striker Hogan Ephraim has extended his
loan spell at Colchester United by another month.
The 18-year-old has made two substitute appearances for the
Championship side since moving on a one-month switch in November,
and has now agreed a deal that will keep him at Layer Road until
January 23.
Colchester manager Geraint Williams says: "From day one,
Hogan has been very enthusiastic and fitted in well.
"With his original deal due to expire, we asked him if
he'd like to stay and he was willing to do so. We have been
very impressed with him and he has been enjoying his football.
"His deal has been extended and we thank West Ham. He has had
to be patient, of course, but he has clearly got ability and his
attiude had been spot on. He knows that he has got to work hard,
but it is good to have Hogan around."
