Chelsea v Hammers

Team News: Anton Ferdinand is ruled out with a recurrence of the groin injury he sustained last month, meaning that Lionel Scaloni comes in at right-back as the only change to Alan Pardew's starting line-up following last week's 0-0 draw with Charlton.

Chelsea, meanwhile, make five changes following their 0-0 draw at Birmingham last week. Essien, Maniche, Geremi, Gallas and Crespo come in for Ferreira, Carvalho, Robben, Duff and Gudjohnsen. Frank Lampard starts in midfield, but another former Hammer, Joe Cole, is only on the bench.

Previous meetings: Hammers visit Stamford Bridge for the first time since October 2004, when Mateja Kezman's 57th minute goal earned the Blues a 1-0 win in a Carling Cup third round tie.

Our last Premiership trip to the Bridge was back in September 2002, when a superb double strike from Paolo Di Canio and one from Jermain Defoe sealed a memorable 3-2 victory.
