WEST Ham United Ladies were knocked out of the FA Premier Women's League Cup after losing 5-2 to AFC Wimbledon at Kingstonian.

The home side raced into a two-goal lead as Hammers began the game slowly. But a goal from Carly Roache just before the break sent the West Ham Ladies in trailing 2-1 at half-time.

The Dons re-established their two-goal advantage making it 3-1 just after the interval, but still Hammers refused to lay down. Sam Pittuck was inches wide with an angled drive, before a long-range effort from Aofie Aherne flew into the Dons net to make ir 3-2.
