THE Football Association have reprimanded Chelsea and fined them
£30,000 in relation to crowd problems at the Carling Cup Third
Round tie at Stamford Bridge in October 2004, while West Ham United
have been warned, but no fine has been imposed on the Hammers.
The tie finished 1-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but both clubs
were charged following crowd trouble after the game.
West Ham United's Legal Director, Scott Duxbury, said: "We
are pleased the commission has chosen not to impose a financial
penalty on West Ham United Football Club on the basis of the
evidence put before them."
