THE latest from the Upton Park treatment room, where there is
unfortunate news for Nigel Reo-Coker, but positive reports on the
progress of goalkeeper Roy Carroll.
Head Physio Steve Allen brings us up-to-date:
Nigel Reo-Coker
Nigel picked up a knock on the ankle after a heavy
challenge in the West Brom and came off at half-time. He went for
an MRI scan last Wednesday, which was followed by a CT scan.
These revealed a small crack in the ankle bone. Nigel is expected
to be out for six weeks.
Roy Carroll
There is positive news on Roy Carroll, who has made
good progress in recovering from a knee injury. Roy returned to
training this week and all things being well should be fit for
selection for the game against Spurs at White Hart Lane on
Sunday.
