John Helliar. John kicks-off with 1958-59, the Hammers first
season back in the top flight after an absence of over 27
years.
There is a review of each season that includes John's favourite
game of each campaign. There's a season-by-season match report
of each first-team game; all the goals and appearances and
individual line-ups of not only the West Ham United team but their
opponents as well!
The Elite Era is on sale at £20, and some would argue that it
is a tad on the expensive side, but at 500 plus pages and almost 50
years worth of information, market it represents extremely good
value.
