Exclusive - A Noble Future For Hammers

MARK Noble said that once again West Ham United have a great set of young players that are just waiting to play their part in the Club's future.

The young midfielder also commented on how the great spirit between them all is helping to shape their game as they aim for the first-team. With Alan Pardew looking to combine success for the Hammers and secure the futures of these bright young players, things are looking very good for the years ahead.

Mark said: "Anton came through the Academy, of course, and is doing great in the first-team. Then, there's myself and Elliott Ward who made the breakthrough last season in the Championship. We're now working hard to get into the team this season, but know we have to wait for our chance because the boys are doing so well. Then, there's Hogan Ephraim, Tony Stokes and James Tompkins to name but a few still to make their mark.

"The Club have always had a knack of bringing through some of the best young players in the game and with us being back in the Premiership, there's no reason why they can't play their part somewhere along the way."

Mark added: "We've got a group of players at this Club, from the first-team right through to the youth side, that all want to play and win things with for West Ham."

"For me, having come through the Academy, it's been a case of growing up with some of the players and then taking that step up together with them. We're all mates and there's a great spirit from the training ground to the pitch.

"You hear some people say that there are players at clubs who don't care, just take their money every month and go through the motions, but that's not the case here and hopefully the Club will continue to be in a good position and keep these players. With the ability of the youngsters still to come through, the future should be very healthy for years to come."

Having just returned from a back injury, Mark will enjoy the break coming up and at the same time be working to improve his fitness. He is then looking forward to Hammers' next game at Spurs on Sunday, November 20th.

"Every game is big for us and the match with Spurs will be no different. Not only is it a tough London derby, but it's a huge game for both sets of  fans. What we must focus on, as in every match we play, is getting the points we need to secure safety in the Premiership, then we can push on from there to finish as high up the table as possible."
