West Ham United have confirmed another pre-season friendly ahead of
the new Premiership campaign, against Dutch First Division side ADO
Den Haag.
The game will take place on Tuesday, August 2 at the Zuiderpark Stadium, kick-off 7.30pm, as part of Den Haag's centenary celebrations.
The two clubs have a long and friendly association, having first met in the quarter-finals of the European Cup Winners' Cup back in 1976, when Hammers turned round a 4-2 first leg deficit to produce a memorable 3-1 second leg win and progress to the semi-finals.
Since then, there have been a number of friendly matches between the clubs, with Hammers often travelling across the Channel during pre-season, and several summer tournaments at youth level also.
Ticket and travel information for the trip will appear on the site soon.
