WEST Ham United is pleased to confirm that Niall Clark has joined
the Club as Head of Technical Support.
Niall arrives at Upton Park from Reading to work alongside the
coaching staff at Chadwell Heath ensuring the West Ham United stars
are in peak physical and mental condition to take on the challenge
of the Premiership.
Manager Alan Pardew is delighted to have Niall on board as part of
his back-room team.
"I'm absolutely overjoyed to have reacquainted myself with
Niall," he said.
"He joins West Ham United as Head of our Technical Department,
where he will oversee the fitness, injury and psychology of the
group.
"In my opinion, Niall is a very important signing this summer.
He will enhance every part of our Club."
Niall spent five years as Head of Sports Science at Reading, where
he was primarily responsible for the fitness and nutrition of the
first-team squad. He also worked closely on the rehabilitation and
prevention of injuries and oversaw the fitness regimes of the
club's Youth Academy.
