DUE to recent events in London, there will be an increased
level of security operating at Upton Park on matchdays from the
start of the new season.
Random searching of all supporters will be introduced prior to
entering the ground for the safety of everyone. We therefore
would request that where possible bags are not brought into the
ground. If a bag is necessary we would request that as little as
possible is packed into it and that it is open and ready for
inspection when arriving at the turnstile.
Due to the increased level of security and the launch of our new
access control system we would request that you arrive as early as
possible during this period of heightened security.
Saturdays sell-out match against Blackburn Rovers will also be the
first time the majority of our supporters will have entered the
Stadium using their new Season or Club Cards. While a large number
of Season Ticket Holders will be familiar with the Card system
those in all other stands will not have used their Cards
before.
While the new access system has been proven to allow speedier entry into the Stadium we would expect a short period of adjustment as supporters familiarise themselves with their new way of gaining access to the Boleyn Ground.
Stewards both inside and outside the turnstiles will be available to offer assistance and we are sure that you will soon appreciate the benefits of your new Card.
Instructions on how to use your Access Card can be found by

West Ham United would also ask that all Club Card holders ensure
that they bring their booking confirmation with them on matchday.
This will enable you to locate your seats as quickly and
efficiently as possible.
The Club would like to thank all supporters in anticipation of
their co-operation and understanding in this matter.
In addition, and in association with the Club's official beer supplier Carlsberg, the first 1,000 people entering the Stadium for Saturdays Premier League clash with Blackburn Rovers will receive a voucher for a free pint, redeemable at any of the concourse kiosks.
