TEDDY Sheringham was named the Hammer of the Year for 2005 before
the Sunderland kick-off. The former England star has scored 21
goals in 36 appearances during his first season at Upton Park
Mark Noble was runner-up as Hammer of the Year and
also received Young Player of the Year to cap a wonderful
season after breaking through into the West Ham United first-team.
Academy star James Tomkins was named Most Improved Young
Player.
