Luke Chadwick is relieved that he is in the squad for Notts. County
and has done no lasting damage to himself after going off early
against Ipswich.
Luke, who limped off to be replaced by Hayden Mullins in the second half, says:
"I think I overstretched my hamstring when I went down in the corner and as the game went on it got more and more sore.
"I felt it might go so I told the manager and it was obviously best to come off as it was hard to run.
"It is hard to get back to full fitness straight away with the hamstring and I had to make sure it was right."
As to the issue of whether he should have had a penalty in the incident which led to the problem, he says:
"I thought it was a foul in the box but when the ref has given one that maybe was a bit dubious he is not going to give another."
