Adam Nowland is still out with the injury sustained in the warm-up against Ipswich Town on Saturday, but Andy Melville returns to a 20-man squad which also includes young strikers Moses Ashikodi and Greg Pearson.
Anton Ferdinand returns to the squad after injury while Steve Lomas and Bobby Zamora, who have both been injured as well but were in the squad on Saturday, are both likely to figure in some way.
Youssef Sofiane, on loan at County, has not been given clearance to face West Ham.
