Alan Pardew has taken an 18 man squad to Sheffield with three
potential debutants amongst them.
Carl Fletcher, Malky Mackay, and loanee Calum Davenport are all include in a squad bereft of the suspended Steve Lomas and Chris Cohen.
Carl has been given the number six shirt, Malky has been allocated number 21, and Calum will wear number 26.
Christian Dailly, Don Hutchison, Anton Ferdinand, and Bobby Zamora remain on the injured list.
For Sheffield United, Neil Warnock is without Andy Liddell [thigh strain], Rob Kozluk [foot], Simon Francis and Steve Kabba [both knee].
