West Ham United is pleased to report The Guardian newspaper has printed an apology regarding two articles they published on 27th April 2004, which incorrectly stated that the Club was £50 million in debt.
Having consulted with the Club, The Guardian confirmed that at the time of publication the actual debt was £33 million.
The Club is happy to accept The Guardian's full apology.
