Alan Pardew is looking back on his busiest week in the transfer
market - and says patience is required as he looks to turn things
round.
"From where I am coming from it has been disappointing that I haven't got better results in the short time I have been here," he admits.
"But ultimately I am still looking and building this club and I have to be patient, it is as simple as that.
"We all have to be patient, because we are not playing the football we want and we are not getting the results we want - but we have to continue to work and improve and bring new faces in.
"We still have a chance of promotion with this team, there is no doubt about that.
"What we have to avoid is losing key players from now to the end of the year."
