Steve Lomas, who was involved in first team action against Fulham
on Tuesday evening, is in the reserves' starting line-up for
the home game with Portsmouth on Wednesday evening.
Included in the Pompey side is former Hammer, Bulgarian Svetoslav Todorov.
Five other players with first team experience are playing as Alan Pardew weighs up his selection options ahead of the visit of Cardiff on Saturday.
