Christian: Remember The Positives

Christian Dailly admits that the draw at Norwich felt more like a defeat - but insists there were plenty of positives to the performance.

"We're just disappointed because we felt we had done most things right," he says.

"The most annoying thing is that we just gave them the goal - what can you do?

"But everyone can see the progress we have made and we just have to try and keep it going now.

"It was a bit of a kick in the teeth and I feel like we got beaten.

"We have come away from the team that is top of the league and we should have won the game.

"We were sitting in there dejected and it is a shame, but we just have to get on with it and keep it going.

"But I thought the way we approached the game was excellent - there was loads of fighting and scrapping, we played some good stuff, and we defended situations as well as we could have done.

"There was one moment of slackness and it is a goal - sometimes you get punished like that."

Darren Huckerby was West Ham's nemesis, and Christian adds:

"He goes away and stands on the left wing and he is difficult to pick up at times because most of the time he doesn't play up front.

"But it would have been nice if he had to create his goal and we didn't just give him it."
