Christian: We Can Do It

Christian Dailly says the sending off of David Connolly on Monday killed the game off - but insists West Ham can still make the play-offs.

Looking at the 1-0 defeat at Selhurst Park, he reflects:

"It was difficult and we worked extremely hard.

"The disappointing thing from our point of view was that we lost after approaching the game a lot better.

"In that opening spell of the game we won a lot of tackles but there were a lot of petty decisions in the game - not least the sending off, which I think the referee is going to have a look at.

"Connors hasn't even put a tackle in; he has just stood there and the guy has followed through and kicked him.

"It is not the first time we have had one of those this season.

"The disappointing thing is that we ended up conceding off a corner when we have defended so well, albeit that it was a good ball in."

Christian says there is a difficult - but not insurmountable - task ahead and adds:

"It is just one point from the Easter games - and that is not enough.

"As long as we approach the games like we did against Palace we are capable of winning the four games - so here's hoping.

"Of course we can do it but we have got to start winning."
