In light of recent criticisms by the Football Association that the English game does not produce enough home grown talent, Hammers Vision is currently showing a feature on West Ham's successful youth policy.
The Hammers youth policy is legendary and recent pupils Michael Carrick and Joe Cole give their views on why it is so sucessful. There is also an interview with Tony Carr who tells us the importance of snapping up local talent at a young age, and also the pupils he has had that have blossomed.
Chris Cohen also reveals what activities other than football take place at the academy.
