Under-21 Tickets Still Available

Tickets are still available for the England under-21 friendly match against Croatia at Upton Park on Tuesday night.

The under-21s' first international match of the 2003-04 campaign is a warm-up before the crucial European Championship qualifiers against Macedonia and Portugal next month, and Hammers fans will get the opportunity to see Jermain Defoe wearing an England shirt on his home ground.

Former Hammer Glen Johnson is also likely to appear in his first return to Upton Park since leaving for Chelsea in the summer, and coach David Platt expects a strong challenge from the Croatians.

"They combine technical and physical qualities and will be difficult be beat. However, we have a lot of quality and experience in our squad and will go into the match with confidence.

"Upton Park is a fantastic stadium, and we hope that the Hammers fans will create a great atmosphere and help us get the new international season off to the perfect start."

Kick-off is at 8pm and tickets can be purchased from the ticket office at Upton Park, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s and OAPs.
