Out-singing The Blues!

Ticket Office manager Steve Kitcher has urged Hammers fans to take up the full allocation for next week's mouth-watering FA Cup fourth round tie against Chelsea, and provide the kind of vocal support that will help spur Glenn Roeder's men on to a famous victory.

The Hammers have been handed 6,600 tickets in the Matthew Harding lower tier at Stamford Bridge and Steve points to last season's memorable cup triumphs on the road as examples of how a large contingent of supporters can inspire the team.

"Any fans who were lucky enough to be there against Manchester United and Sunderland in the cup last season will remember the fantastic atmospheres and the way we outsung the home fans at Old Trafford and the Stadium of Light," he says.

"I'm sure we can create that kind of atmosphere again and spur the team on to what would be a memorable victory.

"The game isn't live on TV, so being there is the only way not to miss it and early indication is that we will sell out very quickly, so supporters need to move fast."

Tickets are on sale to Season Ticket holders today (personal and phone callers), and go on sale to club members on Monday. Any remaining tickets will go on general sale on Tuesday.
