Carr's Sympathy

Youth director Tony Carr says that Les Sealey's two young sons will be given all the help they need to overcome their grief following the sudden and tragic death of their father.

"It is a terrible time for both the boys," says Tony. "George has resumed training this week but no demands will be made on the lad.

"It is just a case of him getting back into the routine of training again and overcoming this tragic loss.

"We'll have a careful eye on him and make sure he is not put under too much pressure; if he has moments when he is not quite right we will give him days to spend on his own and have a quiet time.

"As they say, time is a great healer, but it is a very sad thing for two young boys to lose their father so early.

"We've all known Les a very long time and his wife Elaine and it still hasn't sunk in that someone so young and vibrant could be taken so early."

George's older brother Joe, also a goalkeeper, is currently unable to play because of a dislocated shoulder.

Also on the injured list among the young goalkeepers is Glen Jackson, who broke a hand this week.
