Courtois' Pick-me-up

Laurent Courtois has revealed that he was ill against Southampton - but insisted on playing.
His performance on the left, in the continued absence of Joe Cole, was a key factor in West Ham picking up the three points on Saturday.
He got a standing ovation when he was taken off four minutes from time, and says:
"I was very tired because I was a bit ill and I didn't sleep well the night before.
"But it was fine in the end, and it was good to get a nice reaction from the crowd."
He missed the 7-1 defeat at Blackburn as he was rested following the loss at Everton, but says:
"Every time you are out you are disappointed but Glenn is the coach.
"I don't know what happened at Blackburn and we were sorry.
"But we were not nervous against Southampton, we just wanted to prove it will never happen again."
He denies the players are apprehensive about playing away now and insists:
"I hope we will play better in the next game but I can't say I enjoy playing away less."
And the Chelsea game?
"Anything can happen with us - and we can beat them."
