Byrne Blow

Shaun Byrne will be out of action for a month.
He returned from international duty with Eire with a foot problem - but represents West Ham's only injury worry amongst the players who have been away with their countries.
Revealing the extent of the injury, Glenn Roeder says:
"We have had quite a few away on international duty, and, apart from Shaun Byrne, they have come back safely.
"He has got a toe injury which will keep him out for four weeks, and it has annoyed me to be honest.
"Every time he goes away with the Republic he always seems to come back with an injury, and now he has a crack in his big toe."
It is all the more upsetting for Glenn now that he sees him as part of the senior squad, and he says:
"He has been introduced to the first team recently, and is a player we have nurtured slowly over the last six months, as we have McCann and Garcia.
"Maybe we are starting to think all three of them could have a future at the football club.
"They have done well and improved a lot since the summer, and that is because working with the seniors has brought them on."
Two of the Hammers' internationals were in opposition at the weekend, and Glenn says:
"Tomas Repka had the biggest smile on his face, and Todorov has kept his head down as Bulgaria lost 6-0 to the Czech Republic!
"I'm really looking forward to Tomas bedding down at the heart of the defence."
