Reserves Grab Win

West Ham's reserves gained a creditable 3-1 win at Watford on Wednesday evening - with Steve Lomas and David James coming through another game.
"I was very happy with Steve," says Roger Cross, "and we must pay tribute to the physiotherapy team and John McCarthy in helping David back to fitness.
"He looked better again than last week and did ever so well and is back much earlier than anyone expected."
Titi Camara made his first start for the reserves since injuring a knee, but came off after 55 minutes.
"Titi still needs to regain his fitness," says Roger.
Watford took the lead, but the Hammers hit back in the second half with Grant McCann equalising with his right foot after good work by Adam Newton.
A Richard Garcia cross provided Svetoslav Todorov with the second from a header, while Grant added his second of the night thanks to an Omer Riza assist.
"We looked a lot more determined in the second half," adds Roger, "and their keeper made a number of good saves.
"All in all, it was a good night's work."
