Alphonse Areola will be part of the France squad for upcoming October fixtures.
The 30-year-old has started all of West Ham United’s first seven Premier League games and has been named in Didier Deschamps’ 25-man squad for upcoming matches against the Netherlands and Scotland.
France will travel to the Johan Cruijff ArenA to play a 2024 UEFA Euro qualifier on Friday 13 October at 7.45pm BST.
Areola and company will then host Scotland in an international friendly at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille on Tuesday 17 October at 8pm BST.
The talented stopper made his international debut in September 2018 and has made a total of five senior appearances.
His stunning stop to deny Evan Ferguson in West Ham United's 3-1 win at Brighton & Hove Albion was nominated for August's Castrol Premier League Save of the Month.
