Nayef Aguerd started as Morocco edged closer to the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations knockout stages with a 1-1 draw against former Hammer Arthur Masuaku's DR Congo on Sunday.
The Atlas Lions move onto four Group F points thanks to the draw in San-Pêdro and require just another point from their final first-round fixture against Zambia to make absolutely certain of their last-16 spot.
Victory looked on the cards for the majority of Morocco's clash with DR Congo, after Paris Saint-Germain's Achraf Hakimi gave them a sixth-minute lead.
Aguerd's side held the advantage right through to the 76th minute, when Brentford forward Yoane Wissa levelled for the Leopards.
With neither side able to land the decisive blow, Morocco kept hold of top spot in the group, two points clear of their opponents.
Zambia play Tanzania later on Sunday, with Group F coming to a conclusion on Wednesday.
