The international action for West Ham United's players continued on Tuesday with victories for Nayef Aguerd and Callum Marshall.
Aguerd's Morocco continued their perfect start to their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign with a thumping 6-0 win over Congo.
A fast start from the Atlas Lions had the game won by half-time, with Azzedine Ounahi and Chadi Riad scoring within the first 16 minutes.
Olympiacos' Ayoub El Kaabi then notched the first two goals of a hat-trick to make it 4-0 by the time 39 minutes had been played.
Morocco kept up the intensity after the break, as El Kaabi completed his treble on 53 minutes, before Soufiane Rahimi completed the scoring just past the hour.
Aguerd was able to celebrate a clean sheet on his 43rd appearance for his country as they made it three wins from three in CAF qualifying Group E. Their campaign will resume in March next year.
In Europe, meanwhile, Academy star Callum Marshall was a starter as Northern Ireland concluded their international window with a 2-0 friendly victory over Andorra in Murcia, Spain.
Nineteen-year-old Marshall won his fourth international cap and provided the assist for Conor Bradley's opening goal on 16 minutes, beating his man down the left before providing an inviting near-post cross.
Liverpool's Bradley added a second six minutes later and that proved to be the end of the goalscoring action.
Elsewhere, Dinos Mavropanos was an unused substitute in Greece's 2-0 win against Malta in a friendly played in Austria.
At age group level, George Earthy and Kaelan Casey both came off the bench for England's Men's Elite League (formerly Under-20s) squad, as they drew 2-2 with Republic of Ireland in Croatia.
