An elegant, ball-playing centre-back, Airidas Golambeckis is just as comfortable in midfield.

Featuring regularly at U18 level during the 2023/24 campaign, he made his Premier League 2 debut in the same season with the U21s playing the full 90 minutes in a 0-2 victory over Norwich.

His performances earned him a full-time Scholarship with the Hammers signed ahead of the 2024/25 season. His strong start to the campaign earned him his first call-up to the Young Lions squad for Liam Bramley's U18s. Making his debut in a 1-1 draw against Switzerland, Golambeckis scored his first international goal in a 3-1 win against Ukraine U19s.
