Skilful with the ball, and with plenty of work rate off it, Elisha Sowunmi is a versatile attacker, comfortable on the left or right or as No10.

Having signed Scholarship terms ahead of the 2023/24 season, Sowunmi became a key part of the U18s side marking his step up from schoolboy football with a brace in a memorable 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur in December 2023. He made his Premier League 2 debut for the U21s on the last day of the regular season, playing out the final minutes as the development side lost 3-1 to Leicester City.

In his second year as a scholar, he established himself as the top goalscorer in all competitions for Lauris Coggin's U18s, scoring hat-tricks against Reading and Aston Villa in Premier League South.
