Dan Rigge signed Scholarship terms with the West Ham United Academy in June 2022, having impressed during his time on trial.
He featured 24 times in all competitions in his debut season with the U18s scoring two goals in victories against Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur respectively. The attacking midfielder helped Kevin Keen’s side to win the U18 Premier League South division trophy and the FA Youth Cup as the young Hammers completed a historic double.
The 2023/24 season would see the technically gifted midfielder register 19 goal contributions in 21 U18 Premier League South appearances, including a hat-trick against Aston Villa. Rigge would also go onto score on his Premier League 2 debut, a 2-4 victory over West Bromwich Albion.
His impressive performances were rewarded with a first professional contract, signed in October 2023.
