The Premier League and Electronic Arts Inc. have announced the return of the ePremier League for the 2024/25 season.
Entering its seventh season, the competition gives fans a shot at glory by winning the ePremier League title for their favourite club, along with a share of the £100,000 prize pool and seats at the eChampions League and FC Pro World Championship.
This season’s competition will take place on the newly released EA SPORTS FC™ 25, and UK-based players aged 16 and over can sign up now HERE.
The tournament commences on Wednesday 20 November, with three online qualification stages for each club across November and December determining who reaches January’s Club Playoffs.
The live ePremier League (ePL) events will once again span two action-packed weekends. The first of these, the ePL Group Stages, will take place on 1 and 2 March, with the four leading clubs booking their spots at the ePL Finals on Sunday 23 March.
The remaining teams will have a second chance to join them by playing again on Saturday 22 March, with the competition reaching a conclusion the following day.
The format of this season’s live competitions will see clubs working collaboratively, with one player competing on Xbox and another on PS, in a series of 1v1 matches against pairings from other clubs.
Format
The competition is open to UK residents aged 16 and over. After registering, players compete in a series of online qualification tournaments, with only the best advancing to the Club Playoffs. From there, each of the 20 Premier League clubs will narrow down the competitors and take forward two players, one per console, to represent them in the Group Stages on 1 and 2 March and the Finals on 22 and 23 March.
