Voting now live for Away Season Ticket Scheme representative on Fan Advisory Board

Following an invitation for all members of the Away Season Ticket Scheme to put themselves forward to become a supporter representative on the Club’s Fan Advisory Board, all scheme members are now able to vote for who they would like to represent them.

The application panel, consisting of the FAB Co-Chairs, reviewed each application, with six supporters eligible to be elected.

All members of the Away Season Ticket Scheme will receive an email from Civica Election Process (CES) containing a unique code, allowing them to place their vote.

Only supporters on the scheme are able to select who will represent them. The deadline to vote is Friday 15 November.

If any supporters eligible to vote are having any issues, they are encouraged to contact [email protected]

The eligible supporters are:

Stephanie Barnett

As a lifelong supporter, Away Scheme member and committed advocate for our Club's community, I am standing for election to the Fan Advisory Board as the Away Season Ticket Scheme representative.

I believe in the power of collaboration between the Club and its supporters. I bring extensive experience in stakeholder engagement from my away matchday attendance and also through social media. I understand the importance of ensuring the voices of our away supporters are heard at every level of decision-making.

I will work constructively with Club representatives, fellow FAB members, and our passionate away support to enhance the away matchday experience and represent the best interests of our diverse fanbase. I am committed to promoting transparency, effective communication and positive change. I want to build a strong bridge between the club and away fans. I ask for your endorsement so I can work with FAB towards our shared vision of continuous improvement.

I have been on the Away Ticket Scheme with my two sons and friends since the days when there were barely 200 members. To truly understand the West Ham family is being with the people who watch the team midweek, up north in the middle of winter, season after season in any division as well as all being there in Prague.

I understand the burning passion of supporters of all ages and backgrounds who follow the team through tough times as well as the good. We deserve consistency and fair treatment in exchange for our unwavering loyalty and expect the Board's commitment to match ours so that together we can keep the Club moving in the right direction. I believe I am well qualified to represent this very loyal part of the West Ham fanbase in a balanced, diplomatic, considered but compelling and influential way to protect all our interests.

As a dedicated West Ham United supporter, I’m passionate about enhancing the experience for all fans. I understand the challenges we face, from ticketing to matchday travel, and I’m committed to advocating for improvements that matter most.

I believe in the importance of constructive dialogue and collaboration. As an active fan, I aim to work closely with the Fan Advisory Board and club representatives to ensure supporters’ voices are truly heard. My priorities include improving accessibility, fostering greater transparency, and strengthening the bond between the Club and its fans.

With experience in community engagement, I am ready to contribute effectively to the Board. I am committed to listening to supporters and working on their behalf to build a positive future for our Club. Thank you for considering my candidacy. Together, we can make West Ham United an even better club for all fans.

I believe that I would make a very positive contribution to the FAB. I have been following West Ham home and away for over 40 years.  During that time, I have been lucky enough to see what many other clubs do and to meet many West Ham and opposition fans and have the chance to talk with them, listen to their views, their expectations, their needs and what they do not like.

So, I believe I have a great understanding of what our fans want.  I also have very high standards and want and expect the very best matchday experience for myself and my fellow supporters and, over the years, I have not shied away from speaking with the Club directly with both positive and negative feedback.  My career has also equipped me with the knowledge and experience of dealing with boards and management at all levels.

I've been a member of the AST scheme in excess of 20 years, enjoying the highs of nights of European glory and the lows of a couple of relegations and traipsing around the Championship, but I always show up to support the Club. Longevity in the scheme means I have over many seasons experienced the process, and am well equipped to understand that process from both the cCub, and the supporters' perspective.

I listen to supporters express their frustrations about the scheme. The process is always evolving, but sometimes the communication as to why, is lacking. Nobody at the Club is trying to make supporters' lives more difficult, we know that, but what seems obvious to those administering the scheme is not always obvious to those experiencing it. Communication, communication, communication.

A regular attender of West Ham matches since 1971, I have been a home Season Ticket Holder since 1988, mainly on the Chicken Run, and an ASTS member since 2016. I have travelled to most of West Ham’s away matches since 1978, including cold evenings up north with return journeys through the night then straight off to work.

I went to all the away matches in Europe over the last three seasons and have seen West Ham play in 28 countries on four continents including the USA, China, New Zealand and Australia. I know what it takes to organise and make time to do this, and the challenges faced by supporters attending away matches. I have substantial experience of representing individuals and groups in my work roles in the NHS. I would use all of this experience, and supporter engagement, to be a balanced and effective representative for ASTS members.
