It’s a moment that will stay in my memory forever. Lifting my first trophy as captain and also Mexico’s first in the Nations League was an incredible moment. It’s one of the most beautiful moments of my life so far. It means more having lost twice in the final. Now as captain, it's a very special moment.

What are your expectations with Mexico at the World Cup in 2026? Hallie Barnes

We have very high expectations, especially with the World Cup being at home, in Mexico. We know how the conditions can be, in terms of climate, altitude and many things, and I think we can take advantage of that. Expectations are high and we want to do our best.

How much have you enjoyed being reunited with Guido Rodríguez this season, having previously played with him at Club América? Eduardo Romo

It’s very special. Especially because we played together at América and now life and destiny have put us in a Premier League team together. It’s great - he’s a great person, we enjoy every day and we work very hard.

Which Mexican dish do you prefer - pozole or menudo? Emiliano

Definitely pozole.

What is one pre-game ritual you do that always gets you in the right mindset? Acxel

Every day and every match is lived and played differently, so I don't really have something that I do in particular. I try to prepare myself mentally for the match, I try to be well and I think that anything can happen on the pitch.

What is your favourite goal that you have scored? Alex Palacios Garcia

It’s difficult to decide, because in Mexico I scored two very important goals for Club América, which gave us a title. I could also say my first goal in the Champions League with Ajax, or my first goal with the national team. I simply can’t choose one, these are goals you can’t forget!

What pressure do you feel as a Mexican player being in the best football league in the world? Cristian García

No, I don't take it as pressure. On the contrary, for me it's an honour to be here representing my country, as there are only a few Mexicans who are now in the Premier League - Raúl [Jiménez], Julián [Araujo] and myself. So I don't take it as pressure, for me it's a pleasure to be here, to be able to show what we Mexicans are made of!

Do you have a favourite Mexican restaurant in London? Ozzy

There are a couple of Mexican restaurants in London that are really good, but at home I always try to cook with my family. We always try to have the ingredients to be able to eat Mexican and as healthy as possible. That way it’s not a part of home that we miss a lot.

What is your favourite Peso Pluma song? Belle

Wow, what a good question! I like Hollywood a lot. He has a lot of good ones, but the one I've been listening to a lot lately is Hollywood.

What motivates me the most are my daughters. I have two girls and they are my engine. My partner, my siblings - family is really big for me. Another thing that motivates me is seeing how far I can get as I know I’ve still got plenty to give.

What’s your favourite thing about London, and how much are you enjoying living here? Eric Juarez

I think in general it’s a spectacular city. Central London is incredible, I really like it. You’ve got so many spots to go out to eat, to go for a walk. Another thing I love about the UK and London in particular is how people live and breathe football. It’s the perfect country for football lovers!

If you weren’t a footballer, what would you be? Fraser

I think I would have liked to have studied physiotherapy. Something related with football!
