Matchday Gallery | Hammers bow out of Women's FA Cup after Liverpool defeat

West Ham United women's were beaten 5-0 by Liverpool at Chigwell Construction Stadium in the Adobe Women's FA Cup.

Two goals in the first 18 minutes of the opening half fired the Reds into a commanding position by the half-way stage, and then three more in the second period completed the scoring.

Camila Sáez's own-goal put them into a third-minute lead, before 15 minutes later, Olivia Smith worked the ball across to Leanne Kiernan inside the box, and she found the net after rounding Megan Walsh.

The key moment came in the 38th minute with the dismissal of Amber Tysiak, which left the Hammers to play for almost an hour with ten players.

Three minutes after the break, it got worse for the Irons as Grace Fisk got in on the act, when she directed Marie Höbinger's delivery past Walsh with her thigh.

Lucy Parry netted the Reds' fourth, slotting past Walsh after Sophie Román Haug carried the ball from just beyond the halfway line to the hosts' area.

Sam Kerr added the final insult to the Hammers injury, heading home Júlia Bartel's corner from underneath the crossbar.
