West Ham United fell to a 1-0 defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday evening.
Jørgen Strand Larsen scored the only goal of the game with 21 minutes on the clock, firing home from the edge of the box, with the help of a deflection off Maximilian Kilman.
Marshall Munetsi struck the bar as Wolves hunted a second, and while the Hammers improved after the break, they could not find a leveller.
Niclas Füllkrug, just back from injury, came the closest with a looping header which struck the bar, but it ended 1-0 to Wolves.
