West Ham United host AFC Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon, seeking a return to winning ways after defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek.
The Hammers endured a frustrating evening against the Old Gold at Molineux last time out, leaving empty-handed despite having more goal attempts, far more possession and hitting the woodwork through the fit-again Niclas Füllkrug’s second-half header.
AFC Bournemouth are winless in their last five Premier League games, losing four successive home top-flight matches for the first time with a 2-1 home defeat to Ipswich Town on Wednesday, and although they remain tenth, it could have a damaging impact in their battle to claim a European spot for next season.
Both sides will be full of individuals looking to provide the touch of magic required to make the difference at London Stadium, meaning there are a number of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) decisions to be made and points up for grabs for managers who make the correct line-up choices in the lead up to kick-off, between now and the final Gameweek 38 deadline on Saturday 24 May.
The Gameweek 31 transfer deadline is set for 11am on Saturday 5 April, ahead of a mouth-watering feast of weekend action.

Fit-again Füllkrug to fire?
West Ham United were left disappointed after their defeat to Wolves on Tuesday, but they showed a marked improvement in the second half.
A large reason for that was the half-time introduction of Niclas Füllkrug (£6.7m), who returned from a three-month injury absence to provide much-needed penetration at the top of the pitch.
Injury has limited the German striker to just ten Premier League appearances since arriving from Borussia Dortmund last summer, but he almost made an instant impact on proceedings on his return when his header hit the crossbar and was a perennial nuisance for Wolves’ defenders.
Here’s hoping Füllkrug can have a fruitful end to the campaign.
Alternatively, it might be captain Jarrod Bowen (£7.6m) who leads the line, looking to net at London Stadium for the first time since December, and score what would be his eighth goal of the campaign in all competitions.
Behind the forward line, Lucas Paquetá (£5.7m) scored a season-high ten FPL points in the teams’ reverse meeting at the Vitality Stadium in December. The Brazilian has proved a threat from open play and is the Hammers’ penalty taker, too.
If you fancy taking a gamble, why not add Luis Guilherme (£4.6m) to your squad?
Guilherme was handed his first start in Claret and Blue at Molineux on Tuesday, having impressed Graham Potter and his coaching staff in training at Rush Green, and all in all, it was definitely a promising start from the youngster before being replaced by Füllkrug at half-time.

Opposition Watch: AFC Bournemouth
Antoine Semenyo (£5.7m) is enjoying another stellar season despite being perhaps overshadowed by Justin Kluivert’s performances. Semenyo has recorded his best Fantasy Premier League campaign in 2024/25, and he can fill the void left by the Dutch attacker, who is an injury doubt.
Elsewhere, Evanilson (£5.7m) returned to the starting XI with a bang in Gameweek 28 and is now available at one of his cheapest FPL prices this season, making him an ideal signing for those FPL managers looking for a cut-price forward.
His goal in the 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town in GW30 took him to eleven attacking returns for the season, despite injury limiting him to 20 starts.
Finally, Milos Kerkez (£5.3m) has been in immense form this season, supplying an assist in three successive Gameweeks ahead of the first international break of 2025, highlighting his huge all-round potential in Fantasy.
