Taking a look back at a classic West Ham United moment on this day in history, in association with Heineken...

Manuel Lanzini curled home a magnificent goal as West Ham United maintained their challenge for European football with a 2-2 Premier League draw at Chelsea on this day in 2016.

The Argentinian put Slaven Bilić's Hammers in front with a fine effort at Stamford Bridge, celebrating the strike with a memorable jig alongside his teammates.

Chelsea's Cesc Fàbregas levelled in first-half stoppage time with a well-placed free-kick, before Andy Carroll latched onto Dimitri Payet's through ball and slammed a low shot past Thibaut Courtois to put West Ham back in front.

Chelsea snatched a point through Fàbregas's controversial late penalty, awarded when Ruben Loftus-Cheek appeared to trip over his own feet as he took on Michail Antonio, but West Ham still ended the day fifth in the table.

We went on to finish seventh and qualify for the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round in 2016/17.
