Anton Ferdinand struck a second-half winner as the Hammers saw off Fulham at the Boleyn Ground on this day in 2008.

The defender lashed home from Mark Noble's cross after 69 minutes to record a second consecutive home win after a memorable 2-1 victory over Manchester United last time out.

Earlier, Fulham had taken the lead through Simon Davies after just eight minutes before Dean Ashton headed home Freddie Ljungberg's cross to level the scores after 28 minutes.
