The Twinning Project is a national initiative, which pairs professional football clubs with male, female and young offender prisons in England and Wales. The objectives of the Twinning Project are to support prisoners while in custody and on release through upskilling and education, so as to better prepare prisoners to find work outside upon release and reduce the likelihood of reoffending.

The project has already delivered a pilot at HMP Chelmsford Prison. New dates for two cohorts tbc this year

Inmates aged 18+
Why it will benefit them
The Twinning Project aims to support prisoners whilst in custody and on release to prepare prisoners to find work outside of prison and reduce the likelihood of reoffending. The delivery hybrid model will support the rehabilitation of offenders by offering FA accredited football coaching qualifications.
