The Training Ground+

Community Hub Schools

The Training Ground+ (TTG+) is an impactful initiative by the West Ham United Foundation, aimed at supporting young people from various boroughs through a blend of educational and practical experiences. This programme spans ten weeks, four time a year, and combines classroom-based workshops with outdoor physical activities to address challenges faced by young participants.

Core elements include 1-on-1 and group mentoring sessions that focus on personal and professional development. Wor kshops cover a range of themes such as resilience, confidence, money management, mindset, CV writing skills, and interview techniques.

Additionally, TTG+ provides unique volunteering opportunities, helping participants gain practical insights and build valuable networks in their career pursuits.

When it is running and where

The Training Ground+ Employability Hub runs every Thursday from 1pm to 4pm at The Foundry

Who is it targeting

16- to 25-year-old NEET

Why it will benefit them

Our workshops and outdoor activities focusing on mental and physical wellbeing will support young people to develop personal and interpersonal skills. Providing a strong foundation to enhance their employability skills.
