Meet your Supporters Board

The West Ham United Women's Team Official Supporters’ Board (WSB) has been established to give supporters of the women’s team the opportunity to have their voices heard at the highest level.

WSB representatives meet at three points during the season, to raise and discuss the topics and issues that are most important them and the fans they represent. With women’s football one of the fastest growing sports in England, this gives the Club the opportunity to consult directly with the fans supporting the game.

The WSB provides supporters with an opportunity to directly engage with their supporter representatives, each on the Board as a member of a representative group. The supporter representative will have the opportunity to raise their questions or relay their feedback to senior staff from West Ham United women’s team, using this feedback to help steer the strategic direction of the Club’s decision making.

Peter Tyler

My name is Peter Tyler and I am 62 years old. I have been supporting West Ham all my life and have been a regular at the women's team's matches for the last four years. I am married with four children (two boys and two girls) I was a retail manager for over thirty years but recently I have taken early retirement which gives me more time to enjoy playing golf, watching sport and travelling.

I joined the WSB when it first started in 2020 and have recently been elected to Co-Chair. As a member of the WSB I feel there is a huge opportunity to grow the crowd numbers at West Ham women's games and I feel the WSB could play large part in helping to achieve that.

I would like to do everything I can to help enhance the local supporters' enjoyment when attending West Ham women's team matches. Whilst standing on the terraces I hear supporters complaining about things that they think could be better and often they are things that could easily be implemented. I hope that supporters will know that if they speak to me I will endeavour to get their points on the agenda at meetings to try to improve things.

Allie Heppell

Women's team Supporters' Board Co-Chair – Away Representative

I am a big women’s football fan and have a podcast dedicated to it. I am hoping to bring that passion for women’s football and bring it in being your away rep

I have followed West Ham women's team home and away since 2018.

I have been part of the board since its inception and due to various outside factors I have some unfinished business. My passion for the club and women’s football is immense and I want to share this with you all

My biggest aim to gather support for away matches and build a support we can be proud of. West Ham have some of the biggest, most passionate fans and it’s time the women’s football community saw this.

Sue Adams

Over 66s Representative

I am the Over 66s rep. My main aim is to represent your needs and ideas to the Club so that your experience can be as safe and fulfilling as possible.

I would also like all fans to become more active in the matchday experience and how you follow the women’s team by letting us know your thoughts and ideas.

There is always someone at the Supporter Services tent willing to make a note and then see that your idea is put to the club.

Young Adults (18-25) Representative

I’m the Under 25s representative. This will be my fourth season physically attending West Ham women’s team games and in that time the growth of the game has been so exciting.

I hope to be a part of building on this growth, chat to more amazing fans and continue to help make the games a place where people of all ages and backgrounds feel comfortable and welcome!

Stephen Baker

Families Representative

I am a born and bred east Londoner who is family orientated. A Season Ticket Holder for the men's and women's teams, I try to bring my youngest son to all the games (he was one week old at his first!). I may look old enough to be his grandad but I promise I haven't hit middle age yet and have many more years left in me.

I have supported West Ham for as long as I can remember. I became a Season Ticket Holder for the women's team at the start of the 2023/2024 season and the 2022/2023 season for the men.

My aims are to represent the views of families who attend the Chigwell Construction Stadium for our home games, and also to hopefully see the team regularly sell out the stadium.

My experiences in past jobs benefit me in this role as I am a previous college governor and former youth project manager for the GLA. I have always done my best to be in a role that makes a difference to other people.

Trevor Bright

Accessibility Representative

I've been a fan of West Ham since 1963 and the women’s team since 2020 as previously I wasn't aware of the women’s team.

My aim is to help disabled people get a better matchday experience at football and everywhere else people wish to go without having hurdles to jump through just to go out.

I became a Season Ticket Holder after the move from Upton Park. I then joined the Supporter Advisory Board and was asked to help to set up clubs. As a standalone part of the Supporters’ Advisory Board, we then moved on to open the Disabled Supporters' Board on Facebook, Twitter and web for all West Ham fans with disabilities to have a voice and to be heard at Club level.

We have exciting times ahead with the introduction of Fan Advisory Boards in all Premier League clubs. I also sit on the Premier League Disabled Advisory Board which has helped to make football more accessible for everyone home and away.

Match-by-Match Supporters Representative

I have supported West Ham United all of my life. After the success of the England women at the Euros I decided that I would become a Season Ticket Holder for West Ham United's women's team as support always starts at club level and it is a decision I am incredibly glad I made.

I love football and want to see the game for women grow as it is a wonderful sport to be a part of.

Since 2023, I have been a match-by-match women's Supporters' Board member and it is my aim to make sure all of the West Ham fans have the best time at every match. I can't wait to meet and chat to fellow fans during our upcoming season. COME ON YOU IRONS!
